By booking services or renting equipment from Maliyha Serenady & Co., the customer acknowledges and agrees that all rental equipment, concessions, inflatables, photo booths, tents, tables, chairs, yard games, generators, balloon décor, and related services are used at the customer's own risk.

Maliyha Serenady & Co. is not responsible for any injury, illness, death, property damage, loss, theft, accident, or other damages arising from the use, misuse, operation, or supervision of rental equipment or services.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all rental equipment is used safely, properly supervised, and operated according to all provided instructions, safety guidelines, and applicable laws.

Balloon décor, outdoor installations, and event equipment are subject to weather, environmental conditions, venue restrictions, and other factors beyond our control. Maliyha Serenady & Co. does not guarantee the lifespan, appearance, or performance of balloon décor or rental equipment after installation or delivery.

All rental services are subject to availability, weather conditions, site inspection, and approval by Maliyha Serenady & Co. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, remove, or cancel services when conditions are deemed unsafe or when customers fail to comply with rental terms and conditions.

By using this website, requesting a quote, making a payment, or entering into a rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies, terms, conditions, waivers, and agreements established by Maliyha Serenady & Co.

Refund & Cancellation Policy - the basics

Booking Retainer

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your event date, rental equipment, and services. Once a booking is confirmed, the date is removed from our availability calendar.

Customer Cancellations

30 or More Days Before Event

  • Payments made beyond the non-refundable retainer may be refunded.

  • Retainer remains non-refundable.

15–29 Days Before Event

  • 50% of all payments made (excluding the retainer) may be refunded.

14 Days or Less Before Event

  • No refunds will be issued.

Weather Policy

For outdoor rentals, customer safety is our priority.

If severe weather (high winds, lightning, heavy rain, flooding, or unsafe conditions) prevents the safe operation of rental equipment:

  • Customer may receive a rain check valid for 12 months.

  • Customer may reschedule to a mutually available date within 12 months.

  • Refunds are not issued for weather-related cancellations.

Same-Day Cancellations

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the event date.

Early Pickup or Unused Equipment

No refunds or credits will be provided for:

  • Equipment returned early

  • Equipment not used

  • Guest count changes

  • Changes in event duration after delivery

Balloon Décor

Due to the custom nature of balloon décor:

  • All balloon décor payments are non-refundable.

  • Outdoor balloon installations are subject to weather and environmental conditions.

  • No refunds are provided for popped balloons due to weather, heat, wind, sunlight, or customer handling.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days using the original payment method whenever possible. Maliyha Serenady & Co. Cancellations If Maliyha Serenady & Co. must cancel due to circumstances within our control and a suitable replacement or reschedule cannot be provided, the customer will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
